What is a Division Order?

A division order is a legal document utilized by many operators to specify the distribution of revenue from produced hydrocarbons among mineral rights owners.   Since the same information contained in a typical division order is included on your revenue statement and many states have laws disallowing a signed division order as a condition for payment, Urban has elected not to send division orders for execution.   

Urban does, however, require W-9 forms to be on file prior to payment.   If you have not submitted a W-9 form to Urban please do so as soon as possible.
