What to do when an owner passes away?

Transfers due to death vary by state and vary depending on whether the decedent had a will or not.

To assist, we have prepared the attached document that lists the documents commonly required to transfer an owners interest upon their death. You may wish to confer with an attorney licensed to practice law in the state where the owner’s mineral/royalty ownership resides for specific guidance.

When available, please provide copies of ALL documents to:
